Driver awaits bond after arrest in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, Mo. – A Deepwater resident was held Tuesday night, until he could post bond on drug allegations in Henry County.

The arrest report from the Missouri Highway Patrol indicates that Travis J. Barnes, 27, was arrested just before 7:00 yesterday. Barnes is being held for alleged felony possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor traffic warrant from the Belton Police Department and not wearing a seat belt.

A formal charge on the drug allegation is expected later today.
