A Pattonsburg resident was cited after being stopped earlier this month.  According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy checked a vehicle going 80 in a 55 mile per hour zone.  When he pulled the 43-year-old claimed she was going to a local nursing home for a patient emergency.  The deputy called the nursing home and found this to be untrue.  She was employed there, but there was no emergency.  The driver received citations for allegedly speeding and not possessing a valid driver’s license.
