Drug charges filed after arrest by a Saline County trooper

SALIINE COUNTY, Mo. – Drug charges have been filed in Saline County, against a man and woman from the bootheel of Missouri.

An arrest report from the Missouri Highway Patrol says Jarian W. Gipson, 38, of Poplar Bluff and Linda M. Johnson, 37, of Sikeston, were taken into custody for alleged felony delivery of a controlled substance shortly after 9:45 Thursday morning. Court documents indicate each have been charged with delivery of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Both are eligible to post bond and no court date was listed on the court record.
