Drug, weapon and child endangerment allegations among those listed against Clinton resident

HENRY COUNTY, Mo. — A Clinton man is held on drug-related allegations after he was arrested in Henry County last Friday.

According to a news release from Henry County Sheriff Kent Oberkrom, Darrel Elliot, 42, of Clinton, was detained on multiple allegations around 3:31 p.m. on Friday, June 8.

Elliot is facing accusations of keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, distribution of a controlled substance in a protected location and unlawful possession of a firearm.

In addition, he is preliminarily charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and first degree endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs.

Elliot was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold, pending the filing of formal charges in a Henry County courtroom.
