Drugs and stolen gun recovered following arrests in Moniteau County

MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo.-┬áLast week deputies with the Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office recovered drugs, paraphernalia and a stolen gun from a residence in McGirk, Mo., following the arrest of two individuals.

According to the report, on June 28, 2018, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance and upon arrival they made contact with a female sitting in a vehicle. Jamie Earnheart, 23, of McGirk, was allegedly in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. Deputies then made contact with John Mansfield, 26, also of McGirk, inside the residence and after receiving consent to search the house, marijuana, paraphernalia, and a firearm that was reported stolen out of Benton County was seized.

Mansfield was booked on charges of possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Earnheart was charged with possession of a controlled substance and also faces charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were taken to the Moniteau County Jail and booked on $26,000 bonds pending future court dates.
