Early Morning Vehicle Fire in Carrollton

Update: Carrollton firefighters responded to the 300 block of East Lincoln just prior 6:00 a.m. Thursday to a report of a vehicle on fire.  When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the vehicle fully engulfed.  They were able to contain the blaze before it spread to a nearby home.  Residents evacuated safely and the fire is now under control.  A cause has not yet been determined.

Crews in Carrollton are responding to a report of a vehicle on fire.  According to scanner traffic, the automobile caught fire around 6:00 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of East Lincoln.  The vehicle is fully engulfed and the fire is spreading toward a house.  Residents are attempting to evacuate.  We have a reporter en route and will provide updates as the become available.
