Ellis Sentencing Delayed

The sentencing of a Hardin teen was delayed Thursday afternoon. 18-year-old Jeffery Ellis took a plea deal. He was supposed to have been sentenced at 3:30 today. That has now been continued until April 24th at 11:30.

Ellis admitted to attempting to cause physical injury to the victim. According to police reports, Ellis and three other students sexually assaulted a classmate in the high school locker room.

A second person charged in the case, 18-year-old Randy Estenbaum, returns to court on the 17th of May. He has maintained his innoncence. The other two students allegedly involved in the assault have not been charged.
