A hearing in the case against a Chillicothe man twice-convicted of murder is scheduled for Tuesday.  Prosecutors have been preparing to try Mark Woodworth, 38, for a third time after the Missouri Supreme Court overturned his most recent conviction in January.  Woodworth is accused in the 1990 shooting death of his neighbor, Cathy Robertson.

Woodworth’s attorney Robert Ramsey requested an emergency hearing on Monday related to a motion for a protective order regarding the deposition of Will Gibbens.  Gibbens was scheduled to give his deposition via video on Wednesday, according to online court records.

Proceedings start at 10:30 a.m. in a Platte County courtroom.
