Alert Issued for Lee’s Summit Resident – Cancelled

Lednicky, MercedesUpdate (3:50 a.m.) – The alert has been cancelled. Lednickey was located in Holt County, Nebraska.

An endangered SILVER advisory has been issued for an 81-year-old Lee’s Summit woman.  Mercedes “Mercy” Lednickey was last seen at her home in the 300 block of Northwest O’Brien Road around 4:30 p.m. Friday.  Authorities said she left without her cell phone.

Her vehicle is described as a red 1998 Pontiac Montana van with Missouri license plate number: MG7-P4K.  Lednickey is a white female, 5’8″ tall, and 130 pounds.  She has gray hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing brown or red long sleeved knit shirt.  Lednickey suffers from dementia.

The Lee’s Summit Police Department has issued an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a missing adult incident that occurred at 309 NW Obrien Road, Lee’s Summit at 4:30 P.M. on November 15, 2013.

The endangered SILVER advisory missing adult is:
Mercedes Bernarda Lednicky, a white, female, age 81, hgt 5’05”, 130 lbs, gray hair, brown eyes, wearing brown or red long sleeved knit shirt.

Diagnosed Medical Condition(s): Dementia

Vehicle Information:
red 1998 Pontiac Montana van bearing Missouri, MG7P4K last seen leaving residence, 309 NW OBrien Road, en route to Hobby Lobby.

Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Silver Person incident:
Mercedes Bernarda Lednicky left her residence at 4:30P.M. en route to Hobby Lobby, possibly 1015 NW Rice Rd, Lee’s Summit. Lednicky did not take her cell phone with her. Lednicky also goes by the name of Mercy Lednicky.

Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Lee’s Summit Police Department at 816-969-7390.
