Woodcraft is defined as knowledge of the woods, especially in reference to camping, hunting and other outdoor pursuits. Join us to lean how to light a campfire, swing an axe to split firewood and tap a backyard tree for syrup. Spend the day mastering these useful outdoor basics and others. Learn about the bounty of beavers an how the pre-settlement fur industry shaped our history. Properly prepared beaver meat tastes like roast beef. Stop by for a sample! There will also be kid’s crafts and maple syrup tasting for the whole family. This is a walk-in event for all ages.
