CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — Traveling too fast for the conditions caused a crash in Camden County Saturday afternoon.
According to a crash report from Missouri State Highway Patrol, Linn Creek resident Anthony Giarratano, 30, was traveling east on Anderson Hollow Road (just over 1,000 feet east of Zion Road) at 3:05 p.m. when his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve due to speed in excess of what was safe for the road conditions. Giarratano’s vehicle then slid across the center line, ran off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.
Both Giarratano and his passenger, 23-year-old Camdenton resident Zechariah Terry, were reportedly wearing safety devices at the time of the accident, but Terry still received minor injuries. He was transported by private conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
