A car hit and damaged a light pole Wednesday morning.  They knew it was probably a four-door maroon Buick.

“The officers did some good police work.  They went to a local body shop with some of the pieces of the vehicle that were left at the scene.  We were able to identify that it was a 2005 to 2007 Buick Rainer.  From that we found some exemplar photos, posted it on Facebook, and one of our good community members came through for us and found the vehicle,” said Wright.

Wright says he plans to make more posts regarding cases in the future.
