Charges against Sedalia residents’ Jeffrey Buckner, 21, and Xavier Washington, 23, were filed last November in Pettis County in connection to a string of attempted break-ins at several area Sonic restaurants.

Two unidentified juveniles, ages 14 and 15, are also implicated in the crimes. Buckner and Washington are both charged with first degree robbery. Buckner also faces an additional charge of distribution or manufacture of a controlled substance. Both were in Pettis County Court this week and have had their cases continued.

Buckner will be in front of Judge Robert Kauffman for a motions hearing June 4th with his trial on June 6th. Washington is scheduled for a hearing on June 7th. Both men remain incarcerated on $100,000 bond.
