Farm/Business Accounting Class Set for September 25th

The University of Missouri Extensions Office is holding a Farm/Business Accounting class September 25th at the Carrollton Public Library – 1 North Folger Street Carrollton, Missouri 64633. You will learn to do the following using QuickBooks; customize your chart of accounts, utilize enterprise accounting, enter checks, deposits, and payroll transactions, reconcile your records with bank statements, create budgets, customize and generate financial reports, and manage data security. QuickBooks is a popular tool for farm record keeping. While QuickBooks is not difficult to use, developing a practical chart of accounts and enterprise list will greatly enhance your efficiency, the software’s effectiveness, and reduce your data entry stress. This four-class workshop is designed for new users or users desiring a review of QuickBooks. Use of the library’s computer lab will enable participants to apply the knowledge gained. Participants will receive a notebook with useful QuickBooks information. Class Dates are set for the following; September 25th, October 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 6pm to 8pm.
