SULLIVAN COUNTY, Mo.- A former Sullivan County Prosecuting Attorney was arrested this afternoon and is now facing multiple felony drug charges.

According to the filed arrest report from Troop B of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jerry Hollon, 47, of Milan, Mo., was taken into custody at approximately 2:47 p.m. and cited for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and conspiracy to possess a controlled substance. Susan Foster, 52, also of Milan, is being identified as Hollon’s significant other and is facing the same two charges.

Sources indicate that the arrests are a result of multiple searches taking place at Hollon’s residence and law office. Court documents say that between June of 2016 and June of 2017 Hollon allegedly accepted morphine pills and methamphetamine as payment from clients.

Matt Wilson, Adair County Prosecuting Attorney, has been assigned to the case as a Special Prosecutor. According to online court documents the presiding judge recused himself from both cases and assigns case to the Honorable Scott Othic.

Both Hollon and Foster remain in custody at the Sullivan County Jail on $25,000 cash/surety bonds. Future court dates are currently pending.
