Former teacher indicted on federal child porn production charges

MISSOURI — A former Cameron teacher has been indicted by a federal grand jury on child porn production charges.

According to the Office of the United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, William Derek Williams, 39, was indicted by a grand jury Tuesday on three counts of producing child pornography.

Williams was previously a language arts teacher, however was a part-time high school multimedia instructor at the time of the alleged incident.

Court records indicate Williams allegedly produced child pornography involving three separate minor victims between January 2013 and September 2018.

The case was investigated Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations division with assistance from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.
