Four families have been displaced by a fire in Lee’s Summit.

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. – Thirteen people are being relocated after a fire at their four unit townhouse in Lee’s Summit, Saturday night.

Firefighters were dispatched to 502 Southeast Second Street around 10:30 last night. The first unit on scene reported smoke and fire coming from the rear of the structure. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire within an hour.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
