Four hurt in Boone County wreck Tuesday

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri Highway Patrol reported investigating a one-vehicle accident at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Boone County.

According to a report, 19-year-old Antonio Robinson was traveling North on Highway 36 north of Breedlove Drive when his vehicle went off the left side of the road and through the median.

His car then returned to the highway before rolling over. The automobile rolled multiple times across the roadway before coming to rest. The driver and two others, Erin C. Monroe, 22, and 23-year-old Jakar M. Bufford, were thrown from the vehicle as it rolled, despite Bufford being restrained by his safety device.

Bufford was moderately injured and another passenger, an infant, sustained minor injuries.

Robinson and Monroe were seriously injured in the rollover crash.

All four were taken to University Medical Center in Columbia to receive treatment.
