Four Injured in Roll-Over Accident

An accident reported on by KMZU Monday afternoon injured four teens. Just after 2 o’clock today, the Highway Patrol responded to a roll-over accident on the ramp at NB-65 Highway to EB- I-70. According to the report, 19-year-old Jonathan Terhune of Belton attempted to merge onto Eastbound Interstate 70 when he ran off the side of the roadway causing him to overturn several times. All of the occupants of the vehicle were hurt.  All four occupants of the vehicle were taken to the hospital. 16-year-old Brandin Bertleff of Moscow Mills and 18-year-old Faith Steele of Shelbyville sustained serious injuries. Both girls, who were not wearing their seatbelts, were taken to University Hospital. Terhune and another passenger, 18-year-old Noah Williamson of Moscow Mills, received moderate injuries. Both men were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital.
