Future charges expected in Cass County after traffic stop

CASS COUNTY, Mo. – A Rolla driver is facing felony drug allegations after being arrested in Cass County Thursday.

The online arrest report says Willis E. Smith, 34, was taken into custody by the Missouri Highway Patrol around 9:28 p.m. last night. The trooper alleges Smith was in felony possession of a controlled substance – prescription pills, felony possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended.

Smith was transported to the county jail, where he was processed and released pending filing of formal charges.
