GHCAA Offers LIHEAP Assistance with Heating Bills

Low -income families and the elderly are most vulnerable during the winter months due to high costs associated with heating the home. Kim Breshear, LIHEAP Processor with the Green Hills Community Action Agency, says the program is essential for those in need.

Brashear adds that no matter the reason, if a person or family meets the requirements, LIHEAP funding will help keep their home heated through the winter season. Complete information on eligibility and more is available at the GHCAA website.
