Gov. Greitens faces additional felony related to charity donor list

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Prosecutors announced their intention to file another felony charge against governor Eric Greitens, this time related to the alleged use of a donor list from a charity he founded.

The Greitens campaign reportedly used the illegally obtained list to raise almost $2 million. According to Attorney General Josh Hawley, Greitens transmitted the list without permission from the charity. The statute of limitations pertaining to the incident was to run out Sunday.  The charge alleges illegal tampering of computer data.

An attorney for Greitens responded to the accusation:  “…Now he’s being accused of stealing an email list from an organization he built? Give me a break. Not only did he create this list donor by donor, friend by friend, but the Mission Continues still has the list…”
