PECULIAR, Mo.- A Grandview, Mo., man was apprehended this morning following a vehicle pursuit that began in Cass County and ended in the southern Lee’s Summit, Mo., area.
According to a post on the Cass County Sheriff’s Facebook page, around 9:40 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a burglary at a residence in the 12000 block of E. 250th Street in Peculiar, Mo. While investigating officers with the Peculiar Police Department located the suspect vehicle. The driver of the vehicle allegedly fled from officers at which time the pursuit began.
Officers then pursued the vehicle into the Raintree area in Lee’s Summit before he was arrested by Cass County deputies in the area of SW Hook Road and SW Ward Road. Christopher D. McClogin, 33, of Grandview, was arrested on seven warrants out of Cass County, five of those are for driving while suspended/revoked.
Preliminary charges related to the burglary and stealing are pending.
