A fire and a grease factory seem like a bad combination – but Marshall Fire Crews have brought the blaze under control.

Fire Chief Tony Day reports they arrived on the scene of Hahn and Phillip’s Grease Factory just minutes after receiving the call. The flames had melted hoses that were attached to large tanks of grease. The blaze also sparked a grass fire, and the intense heat caused an adjacent building to catch fire.

Day reports crews worked hard and fast, and were able to get the fire under control in about 90 minutes. No injuries have been reported.
