A guilty plea was entered Friday for a crash that killed a MoDOT employee in September of 2012.

Witnesses say David Murdick, 36, sped through cones and flares before he hit Clifton Scott, 50, that night. The highway assistance worker had been taking photos of an earlier accident. Murdick was later tested, and prosecutors report his blood-alcohol contest measured .184.

He now faces up to 15 years in prison; sentencing is scheduled for March 7th.
