Jeffrey Griffith, 40, was arrested after a standoff  at a building in Dawn in March. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers and deputies in Livingston and Caldwell Counties surrounded the building.  Griffith eventually surrendered without incident where he was taken into custody on several outstanding warrants.

He was wanted for failing to appear in St. Joseph, and also had an outstanding Platte County felony warrant for resisting arrest and a Buchanan County warrant for assault.

The St. Joseph resident entered a guilty plea in July to the charges of resisting arrest, careless and imprudent driving, and speeding.

He will go before a Platte Co. judge at 9 a.m. Thursday for his sentencing hearing.
