Gun and drugs seized during Callaway County investigation

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. —¬†An investigation in Kingdom City by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department led to the seizure of drugs and a firearm Wednesday morning.

Deputies were investigating a report of suspicious activity in the 2000 block of Gold Road when they came in contact with Caleb Adams, 39, of Fulton. Adams was reportedly found in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.

Adams was booked into the Callaway County Jail on allegations of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Adams posted a court set $8,500 bond and was released pending a court appearance..
