Applicants interested in the I-70 Medical Center Education Foundation Scholarship need their paperwork turned in by midnight Thursday. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Chairman Dale Klussman:
The foundation is interested in bringing people trained in healthcare-related fields back to rural areas. Anyone going into a medical related field is encouraged to apply. Klussman added it is not limited to students attending school to become doctors and nurses, but is open to any field in the healthcare arena. Those who the scholarship is awarded to will receive $1,000 per semester for up to eight terms.
