A Clinton resident is scheduled for a hearing Tuesday afternoon.  Lonny Mays, 68, was charged with murder and armed criminal action following an incident in March 2012 in which Mays allegedly opened fire on his neighbor, Rudy Romdall, 66.

Henry County Judge Mark Pilley reduced Mays’ $2 million to $30,000, cash only, plus $75,000 surety last August.  Mays posted the full amount a few weeks later and was placed under house arrest.

His hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
