Higginsville man badly injured after two traffic incidents

JACKSON COUNTY, MO – An area resident was injured in a vehicle accident in westbound I-70 Wednesday morning.

A report of the incident, by Highway Patrol, indicates Seth Beck, 18, of Higginsville, had been involved in a previous crash that left his vehicle blocking the left lane east of Sni-A Bar Creek. The driver’s side was struck by a second vehicle, driven by David Pfannkuch, 58, of Concordia.

Beck’s injuries were described as serious. He was taken to Centerpoint Hospital by emergency crews.
