TEXAS COUNTY, Mo. — Two Higginsville residents were transported to the hospital after a single-vehicle accident in Texas County Saturday morning left both with injuries.

According to a Missouri Highway Patrol crash report, Jill Hayes, 48, was traveling westbound on US 60 Highway about four miles west of Cabool when her vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and overcorrected. It then traveled across the highway and ran off the right side of the roadway, eventually striking a tree.
