High Winds Cause Damage in Holden

The National Weather Service has confirmed straight line winds as the cause of damage in Holden. Wind speeds estimated between 70 and 80 mph damaged several out buildings lifting them off their foundations and moving them several yards. The winds snapped trees that were 18 – 24 inches in diameter. One large tree that snapped reportedly fell onto a residence.
