Holden Resident Hits Cow

An accident Sunday night in Johnson County sent a Holden resident to an area hospital.  The crash occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Route O, less than a mile north of Route KK.  The Highway Patrol reports Gene Bilyeu, 49, of Holden, was northbound on Route O when he struck a cow.  His passenger, Shawn Folson, 32, was taken to Research Hospital with minor injuries.
