Update: I-70 Accident

Update 4:23: According to a KMZU listener, all lanes of I-70 have reopened as emergency workers have moved the semi to the median.  Traffic is still moving slow and drivers are asked to be patient as clean-up continues .

Update as of 3:52: I-70 in Cooper County at mile marker 98 is open with one of the eastbound lanes blocked. 

According to a KMZU listener, emergency crews are responding to an accident on I-70 at mile marker 98 near Highway 41 in Cooper County. The westbound lanes are reportedly closed due to a semi-truck on it’s side. The cargo of the truck is unknown at this time.
Drivers are encouraged to find an alternative route.photo
