The festivities will include two musical performances.  “Kyle Turley was a great NFL player for the Saints, Chiefs and Rams,” explained Shields.  “He will appeal to the younger people in attendance at the show.  Turley plays a little bit of country and some rock and roll music.  He’ll be signing autographs after his performance.”  The headliner for the evening is counrty music singer David Allan Coe.  “Legendary, what else can I say about Coe,” said Shields.  “He is right up there with Willie (Nelson), Merle (Haggard), and Waylon (Jennings).  We feel very fortunate to have him perform.”

The concert is Saturday, July 1 at  6:00 p.m. at Carrollton City Park.  Admission is $5.  Seating is on the field on a first come basis.  The event will include a firework display later that evening.  Concession stands will be available.
