Improper Lane Change Causes Crash

Improper lane changing resulted in injuries for a Tennessee driver in Platte County Saturday morning. According to the patrol report, Thomas Wright, 29, of Memphis TN was Northbound on Interstate 29 when he attempted to change lanes and struck a vehicle driven by Jerry Kaiser, 38, of Raymore. The impact caused Wright to skid out of control, run off the roadway and overturn. Wright received moderate injuries and was transported to North Kansas City Hospital. Kaiser and his two young passengers, Jaden, 11, and Wyatt Kaiser, 9, refused treatment at the scene.
