Injured Firefighters on the Mend

An accident in Saline County Saturday during a winter storm injured several people including four Marshall Firefighters, one seriously.

According to the police reports it occurred Saturday afternoon at the Marshall Junction when first responders were already on scene for a previous accident. A driver from Maryland Heights lost control of his vehicle which then went on to strike the four firefighters and two vehicles.

As of Thursday, the Marshall Fire Department reports all four firefighters are out of the hospital with two already back on duty and two more recuperating at their homes.
