PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. — An inmate escape Sunday night has been confirmed by authorities in Pettis County.
According to Pettis County Sheriff Kevin Bond, Travis Lee Daivs, 30, escaped from his cell at the Pettis County Jail late Sunday night.
Jail officials combed the facility in search of Davis, however were unable to locate him.
Davis was in custody of the Pettis County Jail held on $110,000 bond for a number of felony charges, among them endangering the welfare of a child, domestic assault, kidnapping and resisting arrest.
Authorities are asking the public for assistance in locating Davis.
Davis is described as a white male, standing 6′ tall, weighing around 150 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes.
Davis is easily identifiable by a number of tattoos on his person, including a tattoo of a triangle containing an ‘all-seeing eye’ on the front of his neck.
Officials say Davis should be considered to be dangerous and should not be approached by members of the public. Additional charges related to the escape are likely to be filed in Pettis County.
