The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for information in connection to a home invasion and attempted burglary.  Sheriff Steve Cox said the first crime occurred last week at a home in the northwest portion of the county in which an individual entered the residence during the day time hours and took an electronic device.

The second incident happened in western Livingston County.  According to Cox, a suspect attempted to enter the basement of a residence, but the homeowners halted the alleged burglary.  Deputies are searching for a navy blue, 2000’s model Ford 4×4 pickup in that case.  The suspect is described as a white male, over six feet tall, with a slender build and short brown hair.

Anyone with information on these two incidents is being asked to contact the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office at (660) 646-0515.
