Iowa Man Booked on Charges in Daviess County

An Iowa man was arrested by Highway Patrol troopers Wednesday night in Daviess County.  Alec McCarthy, 22, is facing charges of speeding as well as possession of ecstasy and marijuana.  McCarthy was stopped after an officer clocked him allegedly traveling 103 in a 70 mile per hour zone.  He was booked into the Daviess/DeKalb jail for 24 hours.
