Jackson County Farm Bureau to Celebrate 100th Anniversary

The Jackson County Farm Bureau will celebrate its 100th anniversary at their Annual Meeting, September 19th, 2013, celebrating 100 years.  The county farm bureau was one of 13 counties formed before the organizational meeting of the Missouri Farm Bureau  held in 1915.  Jackson County Farm Bureau has mainatained their membership consistently through the years.  Today Jackson County is the largest county farm bureau of  the 115 counties in the State of Missouri with a membership 4,860. The annual meeting will be held at the Gamber Center,  4 SE Independence Avenue, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.  There will be a reception starting at 6:30 and dinner at 7:00 pm.
