Jamauhle Brown in Court for Hearings

A 31-year-old former Sedalia resident will be in court Monday afternoon for a hearing in the murder case against him. In April of 2011 Jamauhle Brown was indicted on numerous charges in connection to the shooting death of Michael Smith in March 2010, including first-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree burglary, committing a felony in furtherance of gang activity, tampering with physical evidence and unlawful possession of a firearm. Brown’s second case will also be heard today in connection to charges of assault and armed criminal action that took place in a correctional center in Jefferson City.  The hearings are at 1:30 p.m. in a Pettis County courtroom.
