Jefferson City man injured in Wednesday morning Cole County accident

COLE COUNTY, Mo. — A driver from Jefferson City was sent to an area hospital following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Cole County.

A report from the Missouri Highway Patrol indicates officers responded to Idlewood at Christy Drive in Jefferson City at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A northbound vehicle driven by Dana C. Wildhaber, 55, of Jefferson City, was northbound and failed to yield to an eastbound pick-up truck operated by 40-year-old Jefferson City John P. Love.

Love, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained moderate injuries in the accident. He was taken by ambulance to Capitol Regional Hospital to receive care.
