Johnson Co. Accident

Three people were injured in accident this afternoon in Johnson county.  According to the Highway Patrol,  Cara Martin, 21, of Warrensburg was traveling southbound on MO 58 about one mile south of U.S. 50 when her car overtook and struck a stationary vehicle in the rear. Martin refused treatment for minor injuries at the scene.  The driver of the stationary vehicle, old Robert Tarpening, 52, of Kingsville, received minor injuries.  His passenger, Dennis Dunning, 58, received moderate injuries. They were both transported to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence.
