Johnson Co. Judge to Review Murder Case

Two men accused of conspiring to kill a Warrensburg man will have their case reviewed Tuesday.  Reginald Singletary, 27, allegedly told police he shot William “Blaine” Whitworth, 25, at the request of  Ziyad Abid, 23, and in exchange for money.  Whitworth was found in his driveway in early September with multiple gunshot wounds.

Singletary and Abid were each charged murder and armed criminal action.  Both men are expected to appear in a Johnson County courtroom on Tuesday.  Singletary’s hearing will get underway at 10:00 a.m.  Abid’s case will be reviewed at 1:30 p.m.
