Judge Denies Bond Reduction Requests

A Lafayette County judge did not grant a defense attorney’s request to reduce a Lexington woman’s bond Wednesday morning.  Shawna Jobe, 38, is being held on a combined bond of $200,000 after she allegedly committed arson, theft, and filed a false police report.  Jobe was charged on Aug. 10 with three counts of arson.  Two days earlier, she was arrested for allegedly stealing and filing a false police report.  Jobe’s cases were continued to Aug. 29.
