A northwest Missouri woman will stand trial in October in the death of her young daughter.  Nicole Lister, 23, of Eagleville, was charged in early September 2012 with second-degree murder and child abuse.  The two-day jury trial is slated to begin on Oct. 29 in Grundy County on a change of venue.

Lister called 911 to report her nearly 8-month-old daughter, Kiraleigh Grace Wheeler, was not breathing, according to court documents. The child died later at a hospital. Preliminary autopsy results found that Kiraleigh suffered multiple injuries in various stages of healing.  At the time charges were filed, police believed the abuse had been going on for several months.
