A Kansas City man that pleaded guilty this past May to attempting to board a plane with a dangerous concealed weapon has been sentenced. 26-year-old Anthony Winn was passing thorough a security checkpoint at KCI Airport in December of 2011 when a security screener saw an x-ray image of a firearm in his carry-on bag. Winn was arrested by airport police who discovered the gun was loaded and that Winn was carrying over $31-thousand in cash on his person and in the carry-on bag. Winn will serve 6 years in federal prison without parole.
