A Kearney resident was injured in a one-vehicle crash in Clay County Saturday morning just before 4 o’clock. The highway patrol reports that George Houser, 29, was driving northbound on Missouri 33 when the vehicle traveled off the roadway. That vehicle then struck a fence and tree stump. Houser was moderately injured and transported to Liberty Hospital for treatment.  An investigation showed that Houser was allegedly intoxicated; he was charged with D.W.I. and released to the care of medical personnel.
