More than 20 students were honored at the annual KMZU Academic Banquet Thursday night.  KMZU drew the name of one student in attendance to win a $500 scholarship.  That award went to Courtney Cramer, of Penney High School in Hamilton.

Cramer plans to attend Missouri State University this fall to study Wildlife Biology and minor in Spanish.  “So I want to work on a wildlife preserve somewhere maybe in Costa Rica or the Galapagos Islands.  And I plan to work with endangered animals and hopefully make them not endangered anymore,” said Cramer.

She says she plans to use the $500 KMZU Scholarship for books.
